A Geekbench listing for the POCOPHONE F2 surfaced
with information about some of its key specs including the CPU, RAM and OS. The listing labeled as
"Xiaomi POCO F2" may confirm that POCOPHONE is working on a follow up
device for the successful POCOPHONE F1 smartphone.
The F1 shook the smartphone industry when it packed
flagship specs while maintaining a mid-range price tag. The listing reveals that the
supposed POCOPHONE F2 has the same CPU and RAM from its predecessor. It has a
64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor clocked at 2.8GHz. With this
information, that the GPU wll be the Adreno 630. It also shows that has 6GB of
RAM. In terms of the OS, it will come loaded with Android 9.0 Pie out of the
box.
The listing also showed that the POCOPHONE F2 has a
single-core score 2,321 and a multi-core score of 7,564. The lack of upgrades
in the CPU and RAM department seems to hint that the F2's upgrades will be seen
on different departments such as the display, camera and battery to name a few. The POCOPHONE F1 in itself is one
of the biggest hits in 2018. Delivering flagship performance in the mid-range
market, consumers raved about it.
If the POCOPHONE F2 improves upon what the former
established then it may face the same success.
