Have already quite covered the
laptop bases and with the portfolio having such powerhouses and best-sellers
like the or it’s easy to become complacent. Which is of course something they
are not planning to do and just today they have announced a new laptop model
launching next month, called CHUWI Herobook.
The initial announced hardware specs of the CHUWI
Herobook looked pretty good with a high capacity 38 Wh battery and 14,1-inch
glare-proof matte display, but then CHUWI hit us with a bit of a headscratcher.
Because according to the info the new laptop should be equipped with a
quad-core Intel Atom X5 processor coupled with Intel HD Graphics N3000, 4 GB
RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. That’s seriously one old processor.
In terms of connectivity the CHUWI Herobook should
have quite a big array of ports including a mini-HDMI port, USB 3.0, USB 2.0,
fast charging DC port, 3.5mm audio jack and expandable microSD slot. The
keyboard should also be a full sized one with narrow borders, so nothing wrong
with that at all. But i’m quite curious seeing the pricing for this model,
because Both LapBook SE and LapBook Air are still very affordable laptops with
much much higher hardware specs and power.
