Toshiba will be making available to
new additions to its range of hard drives in the form of the 12 and 14 TB N300
and X300 hard drive storage systems that offer a helium-sealed design, enabling
the 3.5-inch mechanical design to deliver increased storage density with a
lower hard drive operating power profile.
The new Toshiba 12 TB and 14 TB hard drives operate
at 7,200 rpm and are equipped with an ultra-high 256MB data buffer and use Toshiba’s
advanced Stable Platter Technology to minimise vibrations. Stabilising the
motor shaft at both ends for improved tracking accuracy and maximum performance
during read and write operations, says Toshiba.

availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to
