Huawei announced the Nova 4 in an
event in China. It's one of the first with a hole in the screen for the selfie
camera instead of a notch. It features a 6.4-inch FHD+ 19:25:9 display with
2310 x 1080 resolution which reminds of the Honor View 20 and the Samsung
Galaxy A8s. The hole in the upper left side of the screen is a 25MP shooter.
At the back, it goes with the Huawei P20 Pro-like 3D
glass design and vertically aligned camera setup. It features a triple-camera
setup with a 48MP primary shooter, 16MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP third lens.
Inside, it runs with decent specs. You'll find a
2.36GHz 64-bit Kirin 970 octa-core processor with a dedicated NPU for AI
applications. It also the Mali-G72 MP12 GPU with GPU Turbo technology to let
you play games smoothly. It is paired with massive 8GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage with NM
card up to 256GB, and 3,750mAh battery with 18W fast charging via USB-C port.
The phone also comes with a fingerprint scanner,
dual band WiFi 802.11 ab/b/g/n, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLOBASS,
BDS, and Android 9.0 Pie OS with EMUI 9.0 skin. The Nova 4 retails at CNY 3,399 or around PHP 26K in
China.
