Being just a few days away from 2019, manufacturers
in the mobile industry are ramping up to release their new and improved models.
Cubot is also releasing their first model in January, the Cubot X19. The X
Series is the best selling and most popular for the company as phones like X18
and X18 Plus were a big hit in 2018 mostly thanks to their good performance and
very low price.
The X19 will be the first device of the Chinese
manufacturer to come with Android 9 Pie, the latest iteration of Google’s
mobile OS that competes with iOS in terms of fluidity and resource management.
In the meantime, the new UI and icons offer a new visual experience that
together with the low power consumption result in better user experience.
To supplement the new OS, Cubot equipped X19 with a
modern 5.93″ FHD+ 18:9 display and the Helio P23 SoC accompanied by 4GB of RAM
and 64GB of internal storage; all powered by the 4000mAh battery. As for the
camera, there is a dual real camera that consists of a 20MP sensor together
with a 2MP one and supports PDAF (Phase Detection AutoFocus). The selfie
shooter is a 13MP on with a 4-piece lens with beauty function.
The device will come in two colors, a classic Black
and a modern gradient “Aurora”. The launch will take place in January 2019 but
the initial sale price isn’t known yet with company sources stating that it
will be a real killer in the mid-range segment. For more information, stay
