Is your gaming experience even complete when your
monitor doesn't have glorious RGB action going for it? It’s easy enough to say that
while the PCMR looks for top-end hardware to equip their rigs with, let’s not
forget the one thing that solidifies the experience - glorious RGB. With that
said, ViewSonic wants to step up its game as it announces the XG240R monitor.
The ViewSonic XG240R monitor comes with a beautiful
specs sheet. It’s a 1080p monitor that features 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms
response time, and AMD FreeSync support to give you an immersive, tear-free
gaming experience. For ports, you’ll get two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort, and 1
USB port.
And of course, let’s not forget its RGB goodness.
Branded as Elite RGB, ViewSonic equips its latest gaming monitor with them
colors. It’s compatible with Thermaltake’s TT RGB PLUS Ecosystem, making your
whole rig light up in sync.
It even supports VESA mounting if you’d prefer
mounting it instead of going for the usual desk setup, both of which are great
options just to put it out there. The ViewSonic XG240R was first unveiled
during ESGS 2018, and it was one of the highlights on ViewSonic’s booth during
the show.
