SimpliSafe the manufacturers of home security
products has unveiled a new addition to their range today in the form of the
SimpliSafe Video Doorbell Pro which is equipped with a wide angle 1080p camera
that offers a massive 162-degree field of view, and supports HDR.
Video Doorbell Pro also includes a dual-sensor
motion trigger unique to SimpliSafe. The trigger uses two different sensors in
parallel: a PIR sensor that detects human heat signature, and an image
classification sensor that detects human form. Although camera recording
requires US$ 4.99/month plan for one camera or US$ 10/month for unlimited cameras and
is included with Interactive monitoring.
The SimpliSafe Video Doorbell Pro also provides
two-way audio and a door chime, so users can talk with anyone at the door
through the SimpliSafe Companion application. Noise and echo cancellation offer
“crystal clear audio exchanges” and declutter recording playback by removing
background noise. The SimpliSafe Video Doorbell Pro is now available to
purchase priced at US$ 169 and is the company’s first product to be used outside
the home.
