OUKITEL WP1

We already have the rugged OUKITEL WP2 model selling in the market so in a slightly backwards way the chinese maker announced another new rugged piece designated OUKITEL WP1. This new WP1 model will be of course once again running the tri-proof IP68 certification and pack 5000 mAh battery capacity and will support 10W wireless charging.

OUKITEL WP1 will feature CSG glass super tough screen to resist scratch, drop and bumps. Unlike the previous rugged phones of OUKITEL, WP1 gets glassy back cover which combines PC composite board from Bayer and TPU which is soft but very tough. Such combination of materials and waterproof components protect the WP1 body from water, dusts and drops.

As for the specs the OUKITEL WP1 will be packing 5,5-inch HD+ resolution display, Helio P23 octa-core processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, aforementioned 5000 mAh battery supporting 9V/2A fast charging and it will also be the first phone from the brand to support the wireless charging, specifically the 10W one.

The exact release date for the model is still unconfirmed yet, but it shouldn’t take too long to see the OUKITEL WP1 on sale soon. Evolution comes even to the rugged phones.
