In China, Xiaomi expanded its range of notebooks by
launching the Mi Notebook in China. Its a mid-range grade laptop with a
15.6-inch FHD anti-glare display. In terms of specs, the laptop is
not that exciting, but it is a pretty capable one. It has up to 8th Gen Intel
Core i7 processor, Nvidia GeForce MX110
GPU with 2GB video RAM, 128GB SSD storage with 1TB HDD and memory card slot,
and up to 8GB of RAM.
The laptop also highlights a full-functional
keyboard with a separate numeric keypad. It also has a dual-fan layout with 2+2
heat-sinking pipe. Xiaomi also claimed that it has a 3W stereo speakers with
Dolby surround sound.
The new Mi Notebook also has WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI,
2x USB 3.0, 1x USB 2.0, 1x 3.5 mm headphone jack slot, and Ethernet port. The laptop will be available in
deep gray and white color options.
In China, price starts at CNY 3,999 for
the 4GB RAM model with 8th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, the 8GB RAM model with
8 Gen Intel Core i5 is priced at CNY 4,499. The 8GB RAM model with 8th Gen
Intel Core i7 retails for CNY 4,999.
There's no word yet if it'll reach other markets
outside of China.
