Users of the SimpliSafe customisable home security
system may be interested to know that support for Google Assistant has now been
added to the range. Once the SimpliSafe and Google accounts are linked users
can use voice commands to arm or check the status of their security system.
The verge website explains that SimpliSafe worked
with Google to “develop the integration to ensure that it is reliable and easy
to use”. SimpliSafe CEO Chad Laurans focus was on “fine-tuning the voice
integration and that SimpliSafe is one of the first home security systems to
work with Google Home’s continued conversations feature”.
