OPPO's upgrade to the F7 is now in the Philippines.
Unsurprisingly, it is dubbed as the OPPO F9. Like what was stated in leaks and
teasers, the F9 is equipped with a brand new waterdrop screen design which has
a much smaller notch versus other smartphones.
The OPPO F9 will feature a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen,
Helio P60 octa-core processor with dual-core AI, 6GB RAM, 64GB expandable
storage, and 3,500mAh battery. One of the key selling points of this phone is the VOOC flash charge
tech which can provide up to 2 hours talk time in just 5 minutes of charge.
The device also has the 16MP f/1.8 + 2MP dual
cameras and 25MP f/2.0 selfie camera. Both cameras are AI-assisted. As expected, the F9 also has a
speedy/accurate face unlock, fingerprint scanner at the back, 4G LTE connectivity,
and dual SIM slots. It also loads with the new Android 8.1 Oreo OS with ColorsOS 5.2 skin
on the top.
