In the current market situation it’s refreshing to
see some of the old fashioned design of the phones, not succumbing to the curse
of the iPhone X notched design madness. One of the classical looking ones
should be the upcoming OUKITEL K8 and today we have some additional information
concerning the specs of the phone, because so far we learned only about its
5000 mAh battery capacity.
OUKITEL K8 will feature 6-inch 18:9 AUO display with
FHD+ resolution and 82,4% screen-to-body ratio, Asahi glass protection and
warm-tone colors for the LCD. Back cover should be from polycarbonate material
with 3 layers of paint including UV celluloid paint and should provide metallic
looks without the fingeprint or sweat smudges. Main camera in the dual-lens rear
setup should be a 13MP Sony one with interpolation and the phone will have a
fingeprint scanner, Face ID tech and will also retain the 3.5mm audio jack.
We shall see how appealing will the finished product
look, but so far the OUKITEL K8 is shaping up nicely with the simple yet
elegant old school design and some okay hardware specs. It should be out by the
end of July for yet undisclosed price.
