Lenovo's Z5 was announced in three colors - Black,
Indigo Blue, and Aurora, with the last one switching from Blue to Purple
depending on lighting. Yet that fancy variant wasn't initially available for purchase on
only now Lenovo is finally releasing it.
The good thing about Lenovo Z5 in Aurora is it
carries the same price tag as the other two versions. The device with ZUI 4.0
out of the box and dual 16 MP + 8 MP camera setup on the back costs CNY 1,799 or
about US$ 270/€ 230.
The price is for a unit with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB
storage; there is no version with the fancy color and only 64 GB storage. Pre-registrations can be placed
on JD.com and the first flash
sale will be on July 17. Normally these don't have a lot of units, so chances
are it's not going to last too long.
