Huawei nova 3i,
has appeared in the Philippines. Unlike the nova 3, the new phone has 4 GB RAM,
basic 16 MP + 2 MP back camera setup, and 24 MP + 2 MP combo for selfies.
The Huawei nova 3i is the first smartphone with the
new Kirin 710 SoC built on the 12nm process by HiSilicon. It has four
Cortex-A73 at 2.2 GHz and four more Cortex-A53 at 1.7 GHz for power efficiency.
The screen is 6.3” LCD of FullHD+ resolution and 19:9 ratio like the original
nova 3.
Offered in only one model number INE-LX2, the Huawei
nova 3i arrives with 128 GB storage, but there is micro SD card slot to expand
with up to 256 GB more. The OS is Android Oreo 8.1, covered by Huawei’s EMUI
8.1. The company promises AI features of the interface and GPU Turbo mode out
of the box as well.
Connectivity is limited to Wi-FI 802.11b/g/n at 2.4
GHz and Bluetooth 4.2. The phone might have a 3.5-mm audio jack, but it also has
a micro USB with o no Super Charge support. The power cell is 3,340 mAh and
allows regular 10W charging.
Available in Black, White, and Iris Purple, the
Huawei nova 3i is available for online pre-order at the Filipino retailer
Lazada or at multiple offline stores. The device costs PHP 15,990 or about US$ 300/€ 260. Everyone pre-ordering the phone from July 19 to July 27 will receive
a free Bluetooth speaker that usually costs PHP 2,990 (around US$ 55 or € 50).
