Cherry Mobile has silently launched the Omega HD
Duo. It is a budget smartphone with a 5.2-inch TFT HD+ 282 ppi screen, 1.3GHz
64-bit MT6737 quad-core chip, and Android Oreo OS out of the box. The Cherry Mobile Omega HD Duo also
has ample 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage via microSD card slot.
The battery capacity is a bit small at 2,560mAh, but
if it has the same battery performance coming from the Flare S6, we won't
complain. On the camera part, it has a 13MP primary shooter with LED flash at
the back and an 8MP selfie camera with LED flash in front.
As expected, it has a fingerprint scanner located at
the back as well. It also has WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, and dual SIM
slots. The phone measures at 146.7 x 72.3 x 9.2 mm and weighs at 185 g. It
is quite thick at 9.2 mm even if its battery capacity is not that big.
The Cherry Mobile Omega HD Duo is priced at PHP
4,999.
