Relative to computers from even just a decade ago,
our phones are really incredibly powerful and capable pieces of tech. So
powerful, in fact, that Razer is toying with the idea of releasing a laptop
powered exclusively by their flagship phone. Introducing the Razer Project
Linda.
This forward-thinking concept from the gaming
company imagines a laptop that can dock a phone – giving the user full use of a
keyboard and screen to do everything from tapping out emails to playing Android
games and editing images. Once inserted into the laptop body, the phone can be
used as a trackpad or a second screen when a mouse is connected.
The phone also
gets a bit of assistance from the laptop’s built-in power bank and 200GB of
internal storage for housing apps, games, and offline backups. Who knows,
paying all that money for your smartphone may, in fact, have turned out to be a
wise decision.
