Long after their latest inexpensive U7 launched with
a triple biometric security system back in December, Chinese phone maker – Gome
– is back with yet another incredibly affordable mobile phone – the Gome Fenmmy
Note.
The Gome Fenmmy Note comes with a slim, simple and
stylish design, within which we find a large 5.99-inch HD+ 18:9 display with a
screen-to-body ratio of 83.4%. Surprisingly enough this super affordable device
is also equipped with a MediaTek Helio P23 octa-core processor along with
either 2GB, 3GB or 4GB of RAM coupled with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of internal
storage.
Other specs on the Gome Fenmmy Note include a
13MP+5MP rear camera combo with optimized AI portrait mode and night mode, PDAF
autofocus and EIS (electronics image stabilization), a 5MP selfie snapper with
AI features and a good sized 3500mAh capacity battery.
The smartphone will run GOME OS 3.0 based on Android
8.1 Oreo; meanwhile a fingerprint scanner is present on the back of, which is
one of the three methods of unlocking the phone along with Voice recognition
and Face recognition.
The Gome Fenmmy Note will be available in Black,
Gold and Blue starting at 499 Yuan (US$ 77) for the 2GB+16GB model, 699 Yuan
(US$ 108) for the 3GB+32GB variant and 899 Yuan (US$ 139) for the better performing
4GB+64GB alternative. Sales kick off on June 1st.
