Cubot J3 and J3 Pro

Cubot had always had affordable and great value for money devices but they always lacked extended software support, as it happens with every Android smartphone manufacturer out there. This is about to change with the new Android Go series of devices that are coming. We are talking about the Cubot J3 and J3 Pro.

Android Go is optimized to run on low-end devices with even 512MB of RAM and combined with the lightweight Google Go apps, it results in a smooth operating device. What’s more, the Android Go devices will receive regular updates as Google devices do. Both J3 and J3 Pro are fully-featured devices with good specs for their price tag.

The J3 comes with MT6580 SoC accompanied by 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The display comes at 5″ with qHD resolution, 8MP rear camera, and 5MP front camera. There are all the usual sensors as well as GPS support and facial recognition. On the other hand, the J3 Pro comes with a 5.5″ qHD display, MT6739 SoC, 1GB/16GB memory combo, dual rear camera (13MP/2MP) and 5MP front camera. Also, it sports a fingerprint sensor too.

Both phones are available for sale on Gearbest. The J3 costs just US$ 59.99 and the J3 Pro comes at US$ 79.99. Both of them, as well as the rest of the Android Go series on the market, are perfect for those who have been using feature phones until now or for elderly people and students who want something cheap but fully-functional.
