Philips have today announced that their new
436M6VBPAB monitor has obtained DisplayHDR 1000 Certification and s now
available to purchase priced around € 849. The Video Electronics Standards
Association (VESA) Have named the new monitor the first display to be
officially certified for the DisplayHDR 1000 specification.
Specifications of the monitor designed specifically
for gaming consoles includes a 4K UHD resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels @ 60
Hz, 4 ms GtG response time with SmartResponse and Adaptive Sync technology
combined to Low Input Lag. Other features include Quantum Dot Technology and
Ultra-Wide Colour deliver 97.6 percent of the DCI and 103 percent of NTSC
gamut, 103,64 PPI, C/R is equal to 4000:1
The new Philips Momentum Line has already one a
number of awards including Computex d & I Award 2017 by IF and Red Dot guru
award: Product Design 2017. “Achieving this standard confirms MMD’s commitment
