Gamers in the market for a new gaming laptop may be
interested in the new Acer Predator Helios 500 unveiled back in April 2018 and
designed to provide a more powerful version of the already available Helios 300
gaming laptop, will soon be available to purchase. The Helios 500 notebook
provides a larger 17.3 inch display and offers a path to more powerful graphics
cards and processors.
Acer is offering a choice between 4K or 1080p 144Hz
display (both with Nvidia G-Sync), and it can be configured with up to an Intel
Core i9+ 8950HK processor, GTX 1070 GPU with 8GB of memory, and 64GB of RAM for
the flagship gaming laptop. The the Helios 500 Laptop is also equipped with a
wealth of RGB lighting and Acer’s “Dual AeroBlade 3D fans” to provide improved
cooling when compared to previous models.
Acer is also making a special edition update to the
older 15.6-inch Helios 300 model, offering a new 144Hz 1080p display, an
updated 8th Generation Intel Core i7+ processor supported by Nvidia GTX 1060
graphics and a new white-and-gold colour scheme.
Unfortunately, no information on pricing or
worldwide availability has been released as yet by Acer, but as soon as
