On June 6, Huawei will announce a new technology
that is described as ‘very scary.’ Moreover, a new Honor Play series handset is
set to launch along with it. And the leaked documents make us think the
upcoming Honor 9i can be on the stage as well.
The biggest selling point of the Honor 9i is
considered to be the dark light shooting function. If taking into account the
ingenious use of a 13MP flipping lens on the Huawei Honor 7i, there is every
reason to think the Chinese tech giant has made up something interesting
concerning the camera.
Recently a new smartphone appeared on the documents
of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It comes with a model
number of the LLD-AL20/30 and may correspond to the Honor 9i. according to the
documents, it uses a 5.84-inch 18:9 1080P display with a notch, a 4GB of
running memory, a 32GB/64/128GB native storage, a front 16MP self-timer lens, a
rear-end 13MP + 2MP dual-camera, an octa-core 2.36GHz processor (assumed to be
a Kirin 960), and many more.
If looking at the price policy the company runs, we
think the Honor 9i may cost around 1799 yuan (US$ 281).
