Huawei officially
announced the Huawei Enjoy 8e Youth Edition at a price tag of 799 yuan (US$ 125).
As the name and the pricing suggest, we are dealing with an entry-level device
with acceptable performance, a recognizable look, and a couple of tricks.
First, the Huawei Enjoy 8e Youth Edition sports a
5.45-inch 1440×720 display. There are three color options to choose from –
blue, gold, and black. It has dimensions of 146.5 × 7.09 × 8.3mm and weighs 142
grams only. So the Enjoy 8e Youth Edition is great in terms of single-hand
operations.
As for the configuration, the Huawei Enjoy 8e Youth
Edition is equipped with a MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor. It uses a
Cortex A53 architecture, while the GPU carries a model number of PowerVR
GE8100. The chip is also paired with a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
It supports up to 256GB storage expansion and a battery capacity of 3020mAh.
The phone sports a 5MP front-facing camera
supporting 10 levels of beauty, intelligent soft light, and automatic
recognition of ambient light. On the back, it carries a 13MP camera supporting
PDAF phase focusing. The Huawei Enjoy 8e Youth Edition will go on sale on June
1.
