Alongside the impressive Mi Mix 2S, Xiaomi unveiled
their first ever gaming laptop, the Mi Gaming Laptop! The Mi Gaming Laptop
features a minimalist brushed aluminum chassis with no branding on the lid. In
terms of specs, the laptop has a 15.6-inch FHD screen with minimal bezels and
RGB lighted spacious keyboard. The keyboard has four programmable keys that
should be great for gaming.
Inside, the laptop is powered by Intel's Kaby Lake
Core i7-7700HQ paired with GTX 1050 GPU or GTX 1060 GPU. It also has up to 16GB
RAM, 256GB NVMe SSD, and a 1TB
traditional HDD. It also has four USB 3.0 ports, two USB Type-C ports, HDMI,
and a 3.5 mm female headphone jack slot with high-powered amp.
The Mi Gaming Laptop also has two fans with a 3+2
design for the heatpipe and four air outlets. It also has speakers with Dolby
Atmos virtual surround sound. The Mi Gaming Laptop will go on sale starting
April 13. The version with GTX 1050, 8GB RAM, and 128GB SSD will retail for CNY
5,999 and the GTX 1060 with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage is priced
at CNY 8,999.
