Samsung launched three new Windows power laptops
with stylish metal build and capable specs inside, the Notebook 3 series and
Notebook 5. The Notebook 3 series has two models, the first one has a 14-inch
HD 720p screen while the other one has a 15.6-inch panel with either HD 720p or
FHD 1080p resolution. Both has anti-glare with Samsung Color Engine.
Inside, both will come with either Intel 8th gen
quad-core chip or Intel 7th gen dual-core chip. The Notebook 3 with 14-inch
screen has an integrated GPU while the 15.6-inch variant will feature an
integrated graphics or NVIDIA MX110 2GB GPU. Both has 43WHr battery and
full-sized keyboard with numpads.
The 14-inch model is lighter (1.68 kg) and slimmer
(19.8. mm) while the 15.6-inch model is slightly thicker (19.9 mm) and heavier
(1.97 kg). On the other hand, the Notebook 5 is the higher-end looking laptop.
It also has a 15.6-inch FHD 1080p screen and Intel 8th gen quad-core chip or
Intel 7th gen dual-core chip inside. But, it'll come with the better NVIDIA
MX150 2GB GPU and an SSD + HDD storage. It also has 43 WHr battery, 19.6 mm
slimness, and 1.97 kg weight.
The Samsung Notebook 3 and 5 will be available first
in Korea this coming April. It'll also go official in Brazil in China in Q2
2018.
