Developers, programmers and hobbyists searching for
a standalone AVR Programmer may be interested in a new piece of hardware called
the Program-O-Tron created by Ewan Fisher base in the United Kingdom. The Program-O-Tron
has been designed to provide users with an SD card based AVR Programmer at an
affordable price.
Created to reduce the time involved in programming
the small piece of hardware reduces the steps required to program the chip down
to simply inserting the microcontroller, pressing a single button, wait, remove
microcontroller and repeat.
The Program-O-Tron as available to back via
Kickstarter with early bird pledges available from just £ 30 and delivery
expected to take place during June 2018.
