The very first Gemini Lake tablet laptops are now
available in the form of the Jumper EZBook X1 powered by a 6 watt Intel Celeron
N4100 quad-core processor. The Gemini Lake laptops are now available to
purchase online from the likes of AliExpress from US$ 425. Intel launched its new
low powered Gemini Lake Celeron and Pentium processors late in 2017 and they
are already in a wide variety of desktop PCs but not available in laptops,
until now.
The Jumper EZBook X1 seems to be the first laptop to
be equipped with the Gemini Lake processor and comes fitted with an 11.6 inch
HD touchscreen display and is fitted with a 360 degree hinge allowing you to
use the system as a laptop or tablet depending on your requirements.
The Intel Celeron N4100 quad-core processor is
supported by Intel UHD 600 graphics, 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 64GB of eMMC flash
storage. Other features on the Jumper EZBook X1 include a fingerprint sensor
and connectivity via both 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, USB Type-C and USB
3.0 Type-A connections, mini HDMI port, headphone jack and a handy microSD card
slot which is capable of accepting cards up to 128 GB in size. The laptop is
also equipped with stereo speakers a front facing VGA camera and an internal
9,000 mAh rechargeable battery.
