As scheduled, the white version of the well-known
and much-loved Smartisan Nuts Pro 2 went on sale this morning. Though the
original model has myriads of memory combinations, the white variant is
available only with a 6+64GB and 6+128GB memory options. The former one is
priced at 2299 yuan (US$ 365), while the latter comes at 2699 yuan (US$ 429).
Unlike the previous color options of red, black, and
pink gold, the white Smartisan Nuts Pro 2 looks more aesthetic due to the pure
white housing and silver metal frame. The speaker, proximity sensor, and other
sensors are hidden quite cleverly. The fingerprint scanner is placed under the
logo. The company claims they use a seven-layer piano paint process to make it
look like a real premium flagship. Plus, the edges use a CNC diamond cutting.
The Smartisan Nuts Pro 2 is also a great handset in
terms of hardware. Not in vain it’s considered to be one of the best super
mid-range smartphones around the world. It sports a 5.99-inch Full HD screen
with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a screen ratio of 81.9%. Of course, this is
the selling point of the phone, but it also features a Snapdragon 660 chip
paired using a Kryo architecture and paired with an Adreno 512 GPU. The rest of
features include a 3500mAh capacity battery, a 12+5MP dual-camera on the back
(Sony IMX386 with an aperture of f/1.8, a unit area of 1.4 microns, PDAF
support, etc.), and a 16MP front shooter.
The Smartisan Nuts Pro 2 is capable of fighting
against any top brand flagship, and this color option should give it more power
in this battle.
