Oppo’s latest smartphone in Pakistan- the recently
announce Oppo A71(2018) may get a new variant pretty soon according to a source
from India. If rumors are to be believed, Oppo will be unveiling a refresh of
the device dubbed Oppo A71s in India soon. The information comes from
Phoneradar who cites an undisclosed source claims the company might actually
launch the OPPO A71s smartphone in the next couple of days instead of bringing
the Taiwan exclusive Oppo A71 (2018).
The company is yet to confirm the specs and even the
existence of the phone, but the source claims the Oppo A71s will be priced at
about Rs. 10,000 and that both devices will come with virtually same specs,
except that the new OPPO A71s will come with increased RAM size, twice the
internal storage of the Oppo A71(2018) and the inclusion of a gimmicky Face
Unlock feature.
The Oppo A71 (2018) launched a few
days ago and currently available only in Taiwan comes with a metal unibody
design fitted with a 5.2-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display with a MediaTek
MT6750 octa-core processor 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The new Oppo A71s will come with 3GB RAM and
64GB storage, with a dedicated MicroSD card slot for memory expansion up to
256GB.
Camera wise the device is fitted with a single 13MP
f/2.2 rear camera and a 5MP f/2.4 front-facing snapper with support for the
company’s AI beauty recognition technology,
while the Android Nougat 7.1.2 based device is powered by a 3000mAh
battery.
