iMicroscope has this week launched via Kickstarter
to raise the required funds the development team need to take the microscope
into production. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about
iMicroscope, which is available to back via Kickstarter with super early bird
pledges starting from just £ 70. If all goes well and the Kickstarter campaign is
successful the smartphone microscope is expected to start shipping during April
2018.
The creators of the iMicroscope already have already
developed a number of smartphone microscope products which are currently
available to purchase and include a microRuler, iMicroscope R and iAdatper, all
of which have been previously successfully funded via the Kickstarter
crowdfunding website. The coated aspherical glass lens of the iMicroscope is
protected in a CNC cut aluminium alloy case, to provide a distortion free
image, say its developers. iMicroscope also includes a unique programmed
illumination control system to provide the perfect lighting to capture
photographs of your specimens as you view.
For examples of the images you can expect to see
when using the iMicroscope smartphone microscope, jump over to the official
Kickstarter campaign page. All available pledges
are also listed, together with full specifications.
