Specifically for the New Year and Christmas, UMIDIGI
announced the sale of the flagship S2 and S2 Pro. The action starts on December
25 and will last until January 8. During this period, smartphones can be
purchased at a discount. Devices differ in size and some characteristics. They
have displays with a ratio of 18:9 and thin frames, dual cameras and batteries
for 5,100 mAh.
On the front side of the all-metal S2 and S2 Pro is
a 6-inch display with an IGZO matrix from Sharp and a resolution of 1440x720
for a conventional S2 and 2160x1080 for a S2 Pro. The screen is protected with
a tempered 2.5G Gorilla Glass of the fourth generation with rounded edges.
In UMIDIGI S2, the eight-core MediaTek Helio P20
processor is installed with a maximum frequency of up to 2.3 GHz and 4 GB of
RAM, while the Pro version is equipped with a more powerful MediaTek Helio P25
chip running at a frequency of up to 2.6 GHz and two additional gigabytes
random access memory. The volume of the drive in both cases is 64 GB with the
possibility of expansion by 256 GB microSD cards.
The main camera in smartphones is dual: 13 megapixel
module Sony IMX258 with aperture f / 2.0 and an additional sensor with a
resolution of 5 megapixels. The latter is needed for shooting with the bokeh
effect - blurring the background. The front camera in the UMIDIGI S2 Pro has a
resolution of 16 megapixels and supports the face scanning function to unlock
the device without entering a password.
In both devices, a battery with a capacity of 5,100
mAh is installed. According to the manufacturer, it is enough for two days of
work without recharging. There is support for fast charging technology Pump
Express + 2.0 through a symmetrical USB Type-C connector.
