Nokia 6 (2018)

There's no doubt that HMD Global plans to launch more Nokia-branded smartphones next year, and one of them could be a sequel to the mid-range Nokia 6. The name of the upcoming phone is a bit uninspired, but we don't know for sure if HMD will choose to launch it on the market as Nokia 6 (2018). However, we do know that the Finish company plans to release at least two different versions of the handset.

Two weeks ago, the first variant of the Nokia 6 (2018) was spotted at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory agency, but now a different model has been listed at the same entity. The main difference between the two smartphones is the display. While the first model is expected to sport an 18:9 display, the more recent model is confirmed to come with a 5.5-inch display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio.

The listing at TENAA also reveals Nokia 6 (2018) will be equipped with a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm processor, but the model remains a mystery. Still, the Qualcomm chipset inside the upcoming Nokia smartphone can be either Snapdragon 630 or 660. When it comes to memory, HMD will include 4GB RAM inside and either 32GB or 64GB expandable storage.

Furthermore, the phone will boast a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, a secondary 8-megapixel selfie camera and a 3,000 mAh battery. Sadly, Nokia 6 (2018) runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat, but there's still time to upgrade the software to a newer version.
