LG is expanding that lineup with a smart display – the LG
ThinQ WK9. It has impressive stereo speakers of its own, tuned by Meridian
Audio, but it stands out with an 8” touchscreen.
It has Chromecast functionality built in so you can
cast to it from other devices. With the camera above the screen you can make
Duo calls. Unfortunately, that is all that LG has revealed about this device so
far.
It will be available in the summer at a yet unknown
price. An Amazon Echo Show is US$ 230, so the ThinQ WK9 should be in the same
category.
