It looks like a press render for the new HTC U12
smartphone had been leaked. The picture was posted online by SuggestPhone and
it gives us a look at the design on this new Android smartphone. The HTC U12 is
the successor to the HTC U11 and as we can see from the picture the handset
appears to feature an almost bezel free display.
The new HTC U12 is rumored to get a number of
upgrades over the HTC U11, these will include the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845
mobile processor. It also looks like the fingerprint sensor has gone from the
front of the device.
It is not clear as yet on whether HTC will put the
fingerprint sensor on the back of the handset or whether they will get rid of
its completely. As yet there are no details on when the new U12 smartphone will
launch, the handset could appear at Mobile World Congress next month.
