Professional
photographers searching for an upgrade to their existing photographic kit may
be interested in the new Hasselblad H6D-400c MS camera which is capable of
capturing 400 megapixel images, using six separate exposures captured with the
100 megapixel sensor. The process shifts one pixel at a time for the first four
exposures enabling the camera to capture real GRGB colour data. After which the
camera then moves half a pixel vertically and half a pixel horizontally, before
all six exposures are merged into one massive 2.4 GB image measuring a colossal
23,200 x 17,400 pixels in size.
Features of
the Hasselblad H6D-400c MS camera include the already mentioned 100 megapixel
sensor, USB 3.0 TYPE-C connection for quick film transfers and a 30FPS live
view. On the rear of the camera is located a 3 Inch touch screen display for
menu navigation and settings configuration.
The Hasselblad H6D-400c is also
equipped with CFast 2.0 dual media card slots offering very high speed data
transfers required for HD & UHD video and continuous stills shooting. The
H6D-400c MS can also capture UHD (4K) video in Hasselblad’s proprietary RAW
video format and is equipped with support for wireless connectivity, HDMI and
audio I/O as well as Hasselblad’s unique True Focus technology to provide
razor-sharp images.
