If Nokia is trying to
come in with other Android-running models, BlackBerry focuses on features that
it is strong at. Today, the company launched a new phone named the BlackBerry
KEYONE Elite Edition, which comes with many security features.
The BlackBerry KEYONE Elite Edition uses a fuselage
made of aviation aluminum. The manufacturer claims it passes through 38 various
processes to become very durable and solid. On the back, the phone uses a
classic leather plaid with a non-slip design and skin-friendly texture.
Under the hood, we can find a Snapdragon 625 chip
paired with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM. The BlackBerry KEYONE Elite Edition
sports a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 1620 × 1080 pixels and an aspect
ratio of 3:2. The battery capacity is 3505mAh.
All these features are good, but the selling point
of the BlackBerry KEYONE Elite Edition is its own-made DTEK technology that
provides a real-time monitoring and protection of the operating system. It gets
monthly Android Security Update to ensure your phone is protected against
hacking or viruses. Plus, it provides a BID system integrity checking as well
as a Password Keeper high-strength local lockbox.
The phone is priced at 3699 yuan (US$ 575) and will go
on sale on January 23.
