Those of you using double or triple monitor setups
may be interested in a new piece of kit designed by the team at Asus Republic
of Gamers (ROG) to hide those unsightly monitor joins. The new Asus ROG
Bezel-free Kit will work with almost any monitor and supports non-Asus
monitors. The kit cleverly uses light refraction to make the monitor edges
disappear as if by magic. Once installed
you can enjoy a huge screen that is uninterrupted by any monitor joins
providing a vast gaming monitor at a fraction of the cost.
The Asus Republic of Gamers Bezel-free Kit is
currently being showcased at this year’s CES 2018 technology event and
comprises of vertical lenses and mounts that attach to your gaming monitors at
130-degree angles. Once installed the lenses help blend the joining monitors
together providing a natural effect that allows the joins to be hidden from
view. Obviously you will need the monitors to be roughly the same size for the
kit to work efficiently.
Unfortunately, no information on pricing or
worldwide availability has been released as yet by Asus ROG, but as soon as
information comes to light, we will keep you updated as always. The kit is
expected to be available sometime during 2018, let’s hope its earlier rather
than later.
