Nokia 9 is still something like a holy grail for all
Nokia fans for the past year – or so- and rumors have been flooding our
timeline with no mercy for quite sometime now. Earlier today however, a new
render of the upcoming flagship model emerged and it could be confirming most
of its design features – if it proves to be legit of course.
According to the image that appeared earlier in some
Chinese websites, the upcoming model seems to be equipped with an edge-to-edge
display, with bezel-less design all around the display. Speaking of the
previous models, like Nokia 6 and 8, they featured a display with thick bezels
all around.
If you look closer at the leaked image, you can see
that there’s no front facing fingerprint sensor. This means that it has moved
possibly at the back of the device, leaving much of a space for the screen.
Recent rumors however insist that the Nokia 9 will come with dual-camera setup
at the rear with 12MP lens from Carl Zeiss for photography and video recording.
Also, there could be a dual 12MP front-facing camera for selfies and video
calling (you can spot the two lenses on the top left corner of the image).
Unless one of them is a proximity sensor, but it remains to be seen.
It will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835
SoC, along with 4GB of RAM (do they seem low to you too?). It will also be
available with a 64GB storage capacity and is expected to run on Android 8.0
Oreo operating system. Don’t ask when it’s expected to launch, only Nokia and
HMD Global knows at this time.
