A hands-on video of a mystery Meizu smartphone has
popped up on Slashleaks speculated to be the Meizu M6S. The video gives a
glimpse of the upcoming device which will probably be under Meizu’s new
division, mBlu.
The M6S seems to have a full-screen display, with a
probable aspect ratio of 18:9. Meizu seems to be skipping the mBack button on
this one since the front houses nothing but the display. There is no evident
fingerprint scanner on the back, although the right side of the frame does have
a crevice which seems like the fingerprint scanner. The mBlu branding is
clearly visible on the bottom right corner of the back panel.
This might be the Meizu M6S since more and more rumors are
coming out of the mill each passing day. Meizu is all set to launch the M15 and
M15 Plus in Spring next year, and we might get to see the M6S at the same time
or before. Meizu had made it clear that it won’t be launching any full-screen
devices in 2017, so this phone, if intended, will see the light, not before
2018.
