UHANS K01 is the first in line for the company’s new
‘KingKong’ series of smartphones and this one is actually a rugged phone, so an
IP68 certification is not exactly a surprise. The K01 is also the very first one from UHANS
coming with the said IP68 certification, and the company has just announced
that the phone will be featured at the Asia World-Expo in HongKong.
But it’s not just about the IP68, the phone is
protected with Corning’s Gorilla Glass on the display and has strengthened
alloy frame and rubber backplate. The handset sports a set of capacitive keys
below the display and it also comes with a rear fingerprint scanner.
Camera-wise it packs a 13MP Sony cam on
the back, while a 5MP selfie front shooter is also a part of the package.
UHANS K01 is packing a beefy fast charging (5V/2A)
for the non-removable 5000 mAh Li-ion battery. Running on Android 7.0 Nougat OS
and powered MT6753 octa-core processor
it also has a capacity of 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Rugged
smartphones are built to withstand abuse so the actual sheer power is not
needed, hence the slightly outdated specs.
Since UHANS K01 will be shown at the Asia World-Expo
starting on October 18th to 21st, you can also check it out personally if you
are in town and you can also check the rest of latest UHANS smartphones like
i8, Max 2, MX, Mix 2 at Booth 5H08.
