NETGEAR R6080 and R6120

NETGEAR today launched R6080 and R6120 802.11ac Dual Band AC1000 & AC1200 Wi-Fi routers for home. As per the company claims, the R6080 & R6120 is expected to deliver Wi-Fi speeds up to 700mbps and 900mbps, respectively. The R6120 also has an USB 2.0 port on the back that allows users to find photos, videos and music stored on a shared USB hard drive and enjoy them on a DLNA TV or share them with others wirelessly.

Providing thrice the speed, users can now stream HD movies, play an online game without any hassle. Moreover, both the router supports NETGEAR genie app, that helps the users to easily setup, monitor, share & stream music or videos, diagnose & repair network issues and set up parental controls on the home network from any iPhone, iPad or any Android device.

Both the routers offer high-level WPA/WPA2 security and secure connections. The guest devices are automatically directed to access a separate Wi-Fi network so that they do not have access to the home network.

The NETGEAR R6080 and R6120, Dual Band AC1000 and AC1200 Wi-Fi Routers are available in India at Rs. 2,700 and Rs. 3,200 respectively.
