Huawei unveiled a new color option for the
Honor 9. To be fair, it is a pretty color, but it’s not “new” in the
conventional sense of the word – “something we haven’t seen before”.
The actual news here is that this color option is
coming to the UK in mid-September and will retail for £ 460. Note that this is a
special limited edition and supplies will not last forever. The plain Blue and
Grey color options currently sell for £ 400 or so.
Anyway, here’s the Honor 9 is Robin Egg Blue. “A
labor of love, the color was custom concocted in a process that took
sophisticated toning iterations”. The rear glass – where the color is showcased
as the front is white – is built up of 15 layers of glass and has a unique
photo etching of a fingerprint-like texture.
