Chinese brand Echo just sent over some info
regarding a new smartphone that is coming into the market very soon. The device
is namely called Horizon and it will be featuring a really attractive 18:9
display aspect ratio display at the front and two high quality rear cameras on
the back to grab those neat bokeh shots we love to see.
Specs wise, the Echo Horizon will be coming with a
large 5.7-inch IPS display sporting HD resolution (1440×720) and the fancy 18:9
display aspect ratio, which should satisfy all your media consumption needs
while keeping bezels to the minimum. The elegant display also appears to be
curved on the sides Samsung S8-style, meanwhile on the back we find a
fashionable glass panel with the two high quality rear cameras in the mid-top part
of the phone.
Since we’re talking about cameras, you’ll be glad to
know the Horizon is coming with a main 16MP rear shooter, which should by
itself capture great images, but with the added secondary 2MP sensor you’ll be
able to snap photos with the trendy bokeh effect. On the front we instead find
a still high resolution 8MP selfie shooter accompanied by a 2MP to recreate the
same blurry background in selfies as well.
Under the hood, we’ll find a good performing
Mediatek MT6750T paired with 3GB of high speed RAM and 32GB of internal storage
(expandable up to a whopping 128GB via microSD card). According to the
information, the Horizon will also be available in a beautiful Jet Black
version and a modern Dark Blue variant; it’ll support 4G LTE connectivity on
bands FDD 800/1800/2600, Bluetooth 4.0, Dual SIM and run stock Android 7.0
Nougat out of the box for a better user experience. The expected pricing for
this model will be € 169,99.
