UMIDIGI continues the marathon of
announcements of new smartphones. This time the manufacturer told about the
compact novelty UMIDIGI C2. The device is aimed at those who need a small
smartphone with a productive "stuffing" and good autonomy. UMIDIGI C2
received an eight-core MediaTek processor with 4 GB of RAM, a built-in 64 GB
storage device and a 4,000 mAh battery. All this fit in a metal case with a
Full HD-display of 5 inches diagonal.
The new UMIDIGI C2 is equipped with a 5-inch
IGZO-display manufactured by Sharp company with a resolution of 1920x1080
pixels. This matrix is characterized by high brightness, accurate color
rendering and deep black color. The screen along with the entire front panel is
covered with tempered glass Gorilla Glass of the fourth generation. The case of
the smartphone is made of a single piece of aluminum with rounded edges and
plastic inserts from above and below the antennas. The weight of the device is
148 grams.
The heart of UMIDIGI C2 was the eight-core processor
MediaTek MT6750T with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz, working in tandem with the
graphics accelerator Mali-T860 MP2 with a frequency of 650 MHz. For
simultaneous launch of a large number of applications and tabbed browsers in
the smartphone, 4 GB of RAM is provided, and for storage, 64 GB of internal
memory is allocated, with the ability to expand a microSD card with a capacity
of up to 256 GB.
On the back of the smartphone is a 13-megapixel main
camera with a Samsung sensor and a dual LED flash. For selfie and video calls
on the front side there is a 5-megapixel front camera. For the security of
personal data inside the UMIDIGI C2, the fingerprint reader ID 2.1, combined
with the "Home" button and located on the front side under the
display, responds. There is a smartphone running the Android Nougat operating
system with a proprietary user interface UMI OS and various add-ons responsible
for security, performance and stability.
The cost of UMIDIGI C2 is US$ 169.99, but during the
preselling period there is a discount of US$ 30. First orders will be sent to
customers starting from July 25. The smartphone comes with a silicone case and
a protective film on the screen.
