Samsung
has announced next generation IconX 2018 wireless earbuds at ongoing IFA 2017.
The new versions also come with a carrying case that includes its own 340 mAh
battery.
The earbuds are visually similar to its predecessor
that were launched last year. It comes with Bixby Voice that can be activated
simply tapping and holding the earbud to use your voice to control your music
or your phone. The earbuds measure 18.9 x 21.8 x 22.8 mm and weigh 8 grams each.
Each earbud has 4GB of internal memory that allows you to store music. It also
support Bluetooth 4.2 and are compatible with smartphones running Android 4.4
or later.
The new Gear IconX automatically tracks your running
routines and also features the standalone Running Coach function which can be
activated by simply tapping the earbud to provide in-ear audio exercise status
updates in real time and without your phone. It now supports fast-charging and
improved battery life of up to five hours of music streaming or seven hours of
standalone music playback.
The Samsung Gear IconX 2018 comes in Black, Gray and
Pink colors. It will be available by November 2017 for 229.99 Euros (US$ 273).
