An upcoming Huawei smartphone, rumored to be the
Huawei Honor 7X has appeared in leaked images along with a document which shows
that the device has received 3C certification.
The Huawei Honor 7X is speculated to sport a full
metal body. Some of the leaked images show a USB Type-C port flanked by the
speaker grill and the 3.5mm headphone jack. The fingerprint scanner lies on the
back below the dual camera setup.
The smartphone is rumored to sport a 5.5-inch 1080p
display with the Kirin 670 under the hood coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB
of onboard storage. The Kirin 670 is the mid range offering from Huawei. The
phone is expected to be powered by a 4,000 mAh battery. On the back, it is
speculated to sport a dual camera setup consisting of a 12MP RGB sensor and a
12MP monochrome sensor.
The Kirin 970 is a mid range processor by Huawei
which is rumored to have been built using the 12nm manufacturing process.
Reports indicate the presence of 2 custom Moscow cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and
four Cortex A52 cores running at 2.0 GHz. The GPU on this chip is expected to be
the Mali G72MP4.
