Blackview are apparently working on a new and
affordable IP68 rated rugged phone, namely called Blackview BV4000. The handset
has been listed on Blackview’s website and it apparently sports two rear
cameras.
Blackview wants to show the simple
design behind the BV4000, as opposite to many other rugged smartphones which
are thick and have unattractive looks. The Blackview BV4000 will be packing a
4.7-inch HD display coated in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood lies a
Mediatek MT6580A processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal
storage. On the rear of the phone we find a 2MP + 8MP dual camera setup.
Blackview’s
BV4000 will be fueled by a 3680 mAh capacity Li-ion battery, support dual
SIM dual standby, GPS and run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The handset
should be released by the end of August but we aren’t aware of the pricing yet.
