Sony often releases limited edition PS4 consoles to
commemorate the launch of a game. This time around, it’s doing this for Kingdom
Hearts. Sony has officially revealed the Kingdom Hearts PS4 console. This
themed unit is going to be available soon in Japan.
There’s nothing else different about this console
other than the fact that it has a theme based on Kingdom Hearts. That’s all
there is to it. This is the same PlayStation 4 console that has been out for
quite some time now so those who buy one won’t be getting any real advantage.
That’s not why these limited edition consoles are
released in the first place. They’re meant for fans you want to go the extra
mile to celebrate the launch of a game that they have been waiting for a very
long time.
This Kingdom Hearts PlayStation 4 console is going
to be sold with up to 1TB of storage. It features a special Kingdom Hearts 15th
Anniversary top cover which will also be sold separately for around US$ 18 in
Japan. The console also has a special Kingdom Hearts menu theme. Sony will sell
the 500GB and 1TB variants for roughly US$ 300 and US$ 340.
Sony is yet to confirm if and when the Kingdom
Hearts PS4 console is going to be released in markets outside Japan.
