Honor has launched a new version of their Honor 9
smartphone in Europe, the Honor 9 Premium and the handset gets a number of
upgrades over the original device. The Honor 9 Premium comes with 6GB or RAM,
the original handset had 4GB and it also comes with 128GB of storage, the
original device features 64GB.
The rest of the specifications on the Honor 9
Premium are the same as the Honor 9, these include a 5.15 inch display with a
Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The handset is powered by an octa
core Kirin 960 processor.
The Honor 9 Premium features a microSD card slot for
additional storage and it supports up to 256GB cards. The handset also comes
with an 8 megapixel front camera for Selfies and video chat. On the back of the
handset there is one 12 megapixel RGB camera and one 20 megapixel monochrome
camera.
The device also comes with a 3200 mAh battery and
comes with Android 7.0 and EMUI 5.1. The handset is up for pre-order in
Switzerland and it will retail for € 450 which is about € 50 more than the Honor
9.
