The Xiaomi Mi6 Plus was expected to launch alongside
the Mi6 which was launched in April. The Mi6 Plus is expected to be the bigger
sibling of the Mi6. There have been multiple leaks surrounding the Mi6 Plus and
the latest one shows the back of the Mi6 Plus alongside the back cover of the
Mi6.
The image shows the comparison between the back
covers of the Mi6 and Mi6 Plus. As you can see, the design of the Mi6 Plus back
is absolutely same as that of the Mi6 with 3 cutouts on the top left corner for the dual camera setup and the dual
LED flash. Also visible are the curves on the sides. As is with bigger
siblings, the Xiaomi Mi6 Plus is expected to sport a bigger display, bigger
battery and maybe more onboard storage options.
The Mi6 sports a 5.15 inch display and the Mi6
Plus is expected to sport a 5.7 inch display, putting it in the phablet
category. From the specs point of view, the Xiaomi Mi6 Plus will most probably
sport the same specs as the Mi6; Snapdragon 835 coupled with 6GB of RAM and
64/128GB of onboard storage. The dual camera setup will consist of two 12MP
sensors with an 8MP sensor on the front.
