The Meizu E2 is a mid ranger with an unconventional
LED flash design. It was announced in April this year and went on sale last
month. The phone was launched in Moonlight Silver, Champagne Gold, and Obsidian
Black color variants. Meizu has finally lifted the curtains off its special
Transformers Edition smartphone.
The new E2 variant has some distinct features that
make it stand apart from it’s other color variants. For starters, the back of
the E2 has the Autobots logo and the Transformers: The Last Knight branding. It
has a matt black finish on the back with a glossy screen on the front. It’s not
just the outer design that has been changed. There’s an altogether different
theme that is present in the special edition. The icons are inspired from the
Transformers movie and so is the drop down bar in the notification shade.
The box that the Meizu E2 ships in has Optimus Prime
on the top. Included in the box are the usual accessories along with a
Transformers edition USB flash drive. All in all, the package seems very
appealing and so does the smartphone with the bold branding. The full specs of
the Meizu E2 are available here.
The Meizu E2 Transformers Edition is up for sale in
China for 1799 Yuan (US$ 264), 100 Yuan more than the price of the original Meizu
E2.
